Tenaya Middle School Warrior Marching Band performing their musical selection entitled Hero's Return by Walter Hunt at the 2nd Annual Livingston Festival of Bands on Saturday, May 6, 2023.

Hero’s Return is an original march that pays tribute to one of the composer’s favorite marches, Farewell to a Slavic Woman by Agapkin. The “A” section, which is reminiscent of the Slavic Woman theme, is repeated in a major key at the end. It is written to be a Grade 2 march and it is playable at the middle school level.
