Powerlifting Progress - October, 2023

Philippians 4:13​ - "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me."
Just some progress of my lifts. I'll be going for 335lbs on bench in a few weeks. For the squat: This is in my top 3 proudest lifting moments of my career. I spent months rehabbing my hips, my knees, my body in general to be able to do squats without hurting and damnit, I DID IT. This was the payoff for months of grinding through pain and being uncomfortable, while also trying to learn how to squat properly for my body and reach depth. This may not be a huge accomplishment weight wise and is only a "tie" with my old one, but my old one didn't hit depth and had terrible form, so this is my true squat now. I will continue to grind for more after we get through with the bench progression we are currently working on.
I did the Carp method. I was supposed to do my week 1 of 531 today, but as I was doing it I was like wait, I feel really good and everything is moving fast. It's time to try it. Also my bodyweight was 3 lbs lighter than last time, so that's nice. Just to document how I took my sets, it went 135x5, 185x5, 225x3, 275x3, 305x2, 315x1, 365x1, 405x1.
