[ Canada Station ] Former Amtrak St. Thomas Ontario Station, Service ended in 1979

Former Amtrak St. Thomas Ontario Station (March 31, 2019)

Amtrak served St. Thomas Ontario until Amtrak Niagara Rainbow was truncated to [NFL-NYG] in 1979. Passenger train service was ended in 1979, then freight train service ended in the 1980s.

Canada Southern Railway built the St. Thomas depot in 1873. The depot is 2-story brick building, Length: 108 meters and Width: 11 meters. The depot was renovated and is in good condition. Since no scheduled trains come to the station, the tracks were partially removed.
