Chinese Zither Performance | Lily Liu | TEDxGunnHighSchool

She will perform two songs: an archaic Chinese piece, Fighting the Typhoon, as well as a mixed culture American piece, See You Again.

Lily Liu is a Junior at Gunn High School. She has been playing the Chinese Zither (GuZheng) since she was eight years old and has received the highest level of music degree from the China Conservatory of Music in 2016. She has been competing in multiple local and worldwide competitions since 2012, placing top three in competitions such as San Francisco Youth Talent, Silicon Valley Music Competition, and International Music Competitions.
