Pow Hunting in the Niseko Backcountry 💯

It hasn't snowed in a week, but we still found fresh pow!
The best part about backcountry skiing is being able to go wherever you please.

After almost a full week with no snow, Max, Quinn and I set off on yet another backcountry adventure to see what snow we could find.

We originally planned to summit Chisenupuri, a mountain in the Niseko-Annupuri range but were met with bad weather on arrival. We defaulted to plan B which was to do a couple of laps on Nitonupuri where we had tree cover and a little better visibility.

We weren't expecting much but were pleasantly met with a completely fresh zone all to ourselves for our first run. Opting for an early finish, we hiked up again and headed down for another quick lap on the way back to the car, which also didn't disappoint!
