These 3 German Traditions Make School Special!

Do you remember your Einschulung, or first day of school? In this video, I talk about the amazing things the Germans do to mark this very important day in a child's life, including the Schultüte (school cone), choosing a Schulranzen (backpack), testing for the Schulreife (school ability), and all the family and festivities that go along with it! All of these traditions make the first day of school in Germany amazing!

EDIT: My mistake, the Schultüte featured in this video was made by my son's Godmother!
