University of Portland 50th Anniversary of Salzburg Study Abroad Program.

The University of Portland's Salzburg study abroad program was founded in 1964. Since then, nearly 2000 students have spent an academic school year studying philosophy, art, political science, music, German language and theology surrounded by Austrian history and culture in the birthplace of Mozart. In June of 2014, the University of Portland celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Salzburg study abroad program on UP's campus, hosting one of the largest alumni reunions ever celebrated on The Bluff.
