Snickerdoodle Pumpkin Bread in ASL

Ingredients :

1 cup pumpkin puree
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice or
(1 teaspoon ground cinnamon and ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg)
½ teaspoon salt
½ cup granulated sugar ( pie choice sugar free )
½ cup brown sugar, packed ( you choice brown sugar free?
2 large eggs
½ cup unsalted butter melted
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon (for topping)
Optional nuts for topping

Instructions:

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5-inch loaf pan.

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

In another bowl, combine pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. In a small bowl, mix the sugar and cinnamon for the topping and sprinkle evenly over the batter.

Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
