The 3.0L turbocharged diesel V6 engine makes 240 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. It's got the low-end torque, but not a lot of horsepower. Can the EcoDiesel keep the fast pace set by the F-150 2.7L EcoBoost? Which truck will get better MPGs?

The Ike Gauntlet is a timed run up one of America's steepest highways from 9,000 feet above sea level to the top of the mountain at entrance to the Eisenhower Tunnel in Colorado.
