Kamchatka Bears 2013

This is a video of my trip to Kuril Lake, Kamchatka earlier this year. This video features the lake and the bears feeding on the sockeye salmon as they come in to the lake and rivers to spawn. The video was shot using a Nikon D4 camera and lenses from 24-70mm to 600mm. I was there to photograph the bears but decided also to shoot some video. The camera and lens setup is mounted on a wimberley sidekick, there are no video fluid heads or focus aids used. The video is not perfect, however It gives a good indication of what it's like at this fantastic location.
