Chiatura is a small town in the center of Georgia. Back in the days it used to be known for the mining industry. Nowadays it's known for being a ''half ghost town'', for the Katshki Pillar or even for the cable cars.
The cable cars are used by the locals to get up and down, from the right side of the valley to the left side. What makes them special is that they're about 70 years old, and haven't been refurbished a single time ever since !
Beside those places Chiatura is also famous for the hospitality as a little bit every where in Georgia.
