Google's New AI Can Clone You (Gemini Omni)

If it was hard to tell what's real on social media, it just got harder. Google just introduced Gemini Omni, their newest multimodal AI video model, and you can now create a permanent digital twin.

Instead of fighting with prompts to keep your character consistent across different shots, Gemini Omni lets you create an AI avatar of yourself using just your face and voice. Once it's built, you can drop yourself into literally any scenario with a single @ tag.

But the craziest part is the conversational editing. You don't have to re-prompt from scratch to change your video. You can just tell the AI to change your clothes, swap the background, or even put an object in your hand. According to Google, Omni actually understands real-world physics, so the shadows and lighting automatically update while keeping your character perfectly consistent.
