Ariel Adams of aBlogtoWatch reviews the Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight “Navy Blue” watch (Ref. M79030B). This timepiece is a slightly smaller addition to the Black Bay Fifty-Eight lineup, with a 39mm-wide case (as compared to the usual 41mm). The stainless steel case is finely finished, as to be expected from the Rolex/Tudor family. A simple three-hander with no-date, the BB58 sports a clean dial with lumed applied hour markers and the distinctive Tudor snowflake hour hand. Inside is an in-house Tudor caliber MT5402 automatic movement which operates at 4Hz, has 70 hours of power reserve, and is COSC Chronometer certified. A matte blue aluminum unidirectional rotating bezel surrounds the dial, and a box sapphire crystal tops it all off. Pricing on a “soft touch” strap or a bespoke Tudor NATO-style strap as seen here is $3,375 USD; on the steel bracelet is $3,500 USD.
