Google Chrome: Enable Vertical Tabs (EASY GUIDE)

Welcome back to Silicophilic. Here’s how I keep Chrome clean and organized with vertical tabs.
Chrome already has this feature—it’s just a bit hidden and rolling out gradually.
So even if your browser is updated, you might not see it right away.
So, make sure you’re using a recent version of Google Chrome.
To check, click the three dots menu then go to Help. Next head to About Google Chrome and if any update is available download and install it.
Now, open a new tab and type chrome://flags into the address bar and press Enter.
Search for vertical tabs, enable it, and hit relaunch.

Once Chrome restarts, right-click on the top bar and turn on Show tabs vertically.

And just like that, your tabs move to the side—clean, organized, and way easier to manage.
If you ever want to go back, just right-click again and switch to horizontal tabs.
