Glitter Tumbler Cricut Tutorial

This tumbler combines the use of Epoxy, glitter, Alcohol Inks and Vinyl cutout from your Cricut! This has been one of my favorite projects so far! You first clean the outside of your Cup with 91% alcohol (lower levels may work but I have not tried) don't touch without gloves (the oil from your hands will not allow the epoxy to stick). #2 mix Alumilite Clear Cast epoxy stir slowly to avoid excess bubbles (after no swirls seen in mixing cup stir an additional 3 minutes). #3 apply epoxy to tumbler, pour slowly and smooth on with fingers (remember gloves and well ventilated area). #4 after epoxy is smooth on outside of tumbler add glitter to outside. Let spin for 6 hours minimum. Let dry overnight. #5 print and weed decal and decrease stickiness of transfer tape to prevent pulling off uncured epoxy. #8 Mix additional 10-20 ml epoxy same as before. Add glitter if desired. #9 Let fully cure 3-7 days. Enjoy these Stunning Tumblers!!! Many people can have an allergy to epoxy and it can damage your lungs and most epoxy is toxic before cured. It is important to protect yourself. Wear gloves, cover exposed skin, use in a well ventilated area, eye protection and N95+ mask is Highly recommended.
