In 5 years, Chalino transformed from a low-level trafficker to an immortal icon in Mexican music history. Watch the story of how one man rose to the top but couldn't escape his dangerous past. Rosalino "Chalino" Sánchez Félix (August 30, 1960 - May 16, 1992) was a Regional Mexican singer and songwriter best known for his corrido recordings.

On May 16, 1992, he was murdered in Culiacán, the capital city of the Pacific coastal state of Sinaloa, Mexico. Since his death, his fame and recordings have grown in popularity.
