Spotter Arms “Garage Gym Hack” DIY FLY MACHINE

APOLOGY IN ADVANCE! I hate the music too LOL! After a few months of waiting for equipment to restock online, I found a used foldable rack locally on OfferUp in amazing shape!! In March I had yet to get a bench and weights. That created the desire to expand on it for other exercises. But first I had to clean up the garage. I couldn’t put the rack up without reinforcing the studs. Since putting up fresh drywall, patching some holes, repairing cracks, and few coats of new paint, I decided to buy Titan Fitness X3 Spotter Arms for squats. I read some blogs and searched attachments & a lightbulb turned on and I decided to convert them into a fly machine affixed to the squat rack. Lo and behold — another justification why I’m glad I canceled my 24HR membership.

Here are the items I bought. The rack uprights & arms measure 3x3. Each hole is 1/2” and spaced every 1.5”
