Quest 2 might have competition in standalone VR, But there's a catch

the Oculus Quest 2 might have some competition in the standalone VR sector, A new 4k, 6gb ram standalone headset has been released but you are unlikely to have ever heard of it. the Pico Neo 2 Lite has just been launched in China and is a pretty capable headset with similar specs to the much anticipated Oculus Quest 2. but could this headset be more? can it be a true competitor for facebooks incredible Quest 2?

also in this weeks episode of Quick News from VR Linked we look at the acquisition of Zenimax and Bethesda studios by Microsoft and what that might mean for the VR comunity and the recent funding recieved by Sidequest from Palmer Luckey among others and the NEW development tools launched by Oculus themselves which mirror what was previously offered by Sidequest.
