And then you look back and realise you went in the perfect pocket of time, it wouldn’t even be possible to do what you did, now.

That time you held fast and stayed true to your vision for the dreamiest beach house, one where you couldn’t get any closer. Right on the beach… and within a week you skipped across the country and moved in.

The roads. The decisions. The directions. The moves.

The reason your future self finds it hard to accept the metaphorical trophy of celebration.

The trophy she wants to hand out, is to you right now. Because you’re the reason she’s standing there.

She is there because of you.

You look at your future self in awe, and she stares at you stunned.
