Benny Moré - Tribute on the Centennial of his birthday (Maracaibo Oriental)

Bartolomé Maximiliano Moré (24 August 1919 – 19 February 1963), known as Benny Moré, (aka "El Sonero Mayor de Cuba" and “El Bárbaro del Ritmo”) was a Cuban singer, bandleader and songwriter. He was born in Santa Isabel de las Lajas, in the old province of Santa Clara, Cuba, and although he died in 1963 he remains constantly present in Latin rhythms and in the repertoires of musical groups all over the world. His legacy has had a notorious universal artistic influence.
The Instituto Latino de la Música (Latin Institute of Music, Mexico City) has awarded him the prize of "Estrella del Siglo" (Star of the Century) the most prestigious prize ever in Latin music for an artist.
