How to build a Hen House (+Top Tips!)

In this video I show how I went about building the Hen-House portion of our Chicken Coop.

I used simple rough-cut timber for the frame and some ship-lap cladding for the outside. The whole project cost less than £150, and was bigger and stronger than the cheapest Hen Houses available on eBay/Amazon, which typically retail for £185+ and are considerably smaller.

I was in a fortunate position that I had some thin sheet material laying around my workshop which wasn't being used for anything else, so I would have otherwise had to buy this, but a sheet of 5 or 7mm plywood is not expensive, and wouldn't have added too much to the cost of the project.

I talk through the planning process, some of my mistakes and some of my top tips for making the whole job easier and quicker.
