As you know, United Kingdom Visas are lodged online, and fingerprints and original passport is submitted, at one of the United Kingdom Global Visa Application Centres (VACS for short). TLS Contact and VFS Global, are the companies who run these centres.

Many European application centres have, now opened. They should be fully operational, by 29 June 2020. Some are already able to return applicant passports. The following European countries have resumed services.

Albania, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina,

Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland,

Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway,

Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine.

The following 12 Centres, in North Africa and Middle East, are also due to open.

Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine and Tunisia

The following VFS Middle East centres are due to open on 28 June 2020. Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and UAE.

Rest of the world, 19 VFS Global Offices, have now opened. These include centres in

Brunei, Cambodia, China, Japan, New Zealand, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam.

10 Centres have opened in Asia. These include, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Russia

25 Global TLS Contact Centres in Africa, will resume service on 29 June 2020.

The list includes, Angola, Botswana, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Gambia, Kenya,

Madagascar, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe,

In total, 67 Countries and almost one hundred centres have now opened.

What about Visa Application Centres in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan?

As of 23 June 2020, they are all still closed. It is likely that they will reopen in July 2020.
