Mk1 Ford focus, 2004 Ford Focus speed sensor LOCATION and replacement

Hi and welcome to my video to replace the speed sensor on my 1.4 litre 2004 ford focus. If my video helps please press the like button and subscribe to my channel.

I was having a couple of weird symptoms.
1. My speedometer would suddenly go crazy. Up to max speed and back to zero all while driving above 20. But never 200 as the Focus would never get there! At the same time the radio volume went up automatically. Weirdest car symptom ever!
2. Suddenly the car dashboard warning lights for battery, oil and I forget the other came on. At the same time the car cut out and the power steering stopped.

Since replacing the sensor all of these symptoms have been fixed. For an amateur mechanic it should take no longer than 1 hour and I would say for the difficulty it is 3/10. Good luck!
