If you would like to learn how to paint with acrylics traditionally, I now have an online class program where you can pick and choose the classes you would like to learn how to paint. This is for beginners and on! https://sandra-lett.thinkific.com/collections
I show how I varnish 2 canvases. I paint an abstract painting with the typical recipe that I use. I go back to varnishing a second coat on the 2 canvases. I used Liquitex High Gloss Varnish for these. Then I show you a new Panel made for fluid art that I discovered at Jerry's Artarama in Raleigh (they are also online) and Aqua Boards that are really cool. Then I also show you a Gallery deep frame that holds a regular 3/4" canvas in it to make it appear to be a deep gallery framed look at a better price. I hope you enjoy and learn something from these things I share. ... The colors I used were: White, Black, Dioxazine Purple, Purple Rain, Deep Magenta, Red, Orange, Yellow, Alizarin Crimson, Metallic Bronze, Metallic Gold and I mixed a neon orange with primary yellow and some florescent yellow and orange to make it lighter and brighter! I mix all of my paints with a 1:1 ratio of paint to Floetrol. I add water only if needed to get it to a consistency of honey pouring in a stream from my craft stick. I add a drop of silicone (treadmill lubricant) or OGX COconut Milk Hair Serum to each ounce of paint mixture, excluding white and black. I always seal my art after it has dried a minimum of 72 hours with multiple coats of High Gloss Varnish using a sponge brush. **Tip** I store my sponge brush in a sealed Ziploc between coats and do not rinse it so it does not deteriorate the sponge. This will store safely for at least a week.
