‘Double Life’ Husband’s Fake Identity Exposed in Pregnant Wife’s Murder Case

Authorities allege Gilley traveled using forged Belgian documents under the fake name “Lejeune Jan Luc Olivier,” but Italian officials detained him after the documents failed inspection, leading to new federal charges tied to interstate flight to avoid prosecution. As investigators uncover alleged plans to flee the country and prosecutors prepare evidence about Gilley’s behavior before and after Christa’s death, his high-profile attorney insists the escape does not show guilt and claims his client was simply scared.
