Who doesn’t love a good old Indiana Jones movie? Well, every one of us does. And, guess what? Harrison Ford will return for the fifth and final Indiana Jones movie. The upcoming fifth theatrical installment in the Indiana Jones franchise will hit theaters in July 2022. During the 2020 Disney Investor Day, Kathleen Kennedy announced the film as the "next and final installment" of the series. It'll be directed by James Mangold (the man behind Logan and Ford vs. Ferrari), who is currently in pre-production and after years of rumors and speculation with a release date of July 19, 2019, but the release date was again pushed back due to 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic. Ford reprising his role as Indiana Jones will see the actor has played the archaeologist at least once in every decade – with the exception of the 2010s – since the franchise's debut in 1981 with Raiders of the Lost Ark.
