Navy Veteran Returns to Attu | Alaska | Lindblad Expeditions-National Geographic

Retired Navy Captain Neil O'Connor was stationed on Attu Island in 1948. On his return to the island, 71 years later, he describes the work he did at the meteorological station there, the challenges posed by Attu's unique and extreme weather, and the beauty of the unique landscape.
