Flattening and sanding a redwood slab with the wood-mizer slab flattening machine (planing sped up)

This video shows the process of flattening both sides and sanding of a live edge redwood slab with the large model wood-mizer slab flattener with extension that can surface slabs up to 72” wide and 18’ long. We have hundreds of kiln dried slabs including black walnut, maple, and oak. We sell both rough and surfaced slabs and will also surface slabs for people that bring in their own. We are a family owned sawmill business outside of Portland, Oregon that was started over 25 years ago. We also provide FSC certified timbers and lumber from logs we have, reclaimed beams and lumber, and we custom cut on our wood-mizer LT50 high production mill for people who have logs, and slab logs on our other mill, along with offering kiln drying and beam planing with the wood mizer beam planer.
