After 20 years, the voice of GTA, Lazlow Jones has left Rockstar Games. Lazlow Jones in GTA plays an in-game parody of his real life self. He is heard in every GTA game from GTA 3 - GTA 5 but he is never seen in a GTA physically until GTA 5 and GTA Online. I have memories dating back to when I was 8 years old playing Vice City of Lazlow. This is like losing a friend. Any GTA fan can instantly recognize that soft, high pitched voice of Lazlow. Combined with his hilarious comedy. Lazlow was more than just a radio host in GTA. He is the reason we have radio stations in GTA as he helped co write them in the beginning. He also played a role in pedestrian dialogue in GTA and so much more in the writing of GTA games but also non GTA Rockstar Games. This is truly a sad day for GTA fans. I hope that we hear his familiar voice in GTA 6 with pre rerecorded lines. Because a GTA without Lazlow just wound't be a GTA at all. Thank you Lazlow for all the amazing memories. While GTA fans might be sad, I hope that you are happy with your new direction in life.
