John Deere 24t knotter problems.

we were having a problem with loose bales and missing knots. we found the hay dogs were rusted away and missing parts. here i show the issues and the repair. i bought this off a 80 year old retired farmer who bought it used in the 70's. so the repair isn't the best, we just wanted to get it fixed before our next cutting
