On Wednesday, Dec. 21, NASA astronauts Josh Cassada and Frank Rubio will exit the station’s Quest airlock to install an iROSA on the 4A power channel on the port truss. This will be the fourth iROSA installed on station out of a total six planned for installation. Live coverage of the spacewalk will begin at 6:30 a.m. EST. The spacewalk is scheduled to begin at 7:45 a.m. and last about seven hours. Rubio will serve as extravehicular crew number 1 (EV 1) and will wear a suit with red stripes. Cassada will serve as extravehicular crew member 2 and will wear the unmarked suit. This computer-generated animation of the spacewalk is narrated by ISS Expedition 68 Spacewalk Officer Chris Mundy.
