In this lesson we explore one of my favorite exercise for teaching 3D artists to focus less on method and more on design fundamentals. We do this because it forces you to break typical modeling patterns, think simply, and focus on the core essence of the subject matter. Think of this exercise like doing a painting with a limited palette, or only large brushes. If you can perform studies like this they will allow you to speed up your modeling and study the world more effectively which will better inform your imaginative designs.
