A people whose palaces were built in the mountains and whose fortresses were constructed in the rock, they became a legend of their time, feared by all around them. They were known for their might and for a special group of nine men known in history as the People of Rahat… nine of the most heinous criminals who conspired to spread corruption throughout the land and swore to kill the Prophet of God, Salih, peace be upon him, and to eliminate every voice calling them to worship the One God.
God Almighty said in Surat An-Naml: “And there were in the city nine men who spread corruption in the land and did not reform.” These men were not ordinary men, but rather tyrants descended from a people known for their strength since the time of Noah, peace be upon him. They inherited their massive physical strength and powerful strength, but they also inherited arrogance and conceit.

They owned the land, cultivated it, and ruled it with an iron fist, believing their power would make them immortal. They rejected Saleh's call to worship God and mocked his miracle: the she-camel that God brought forth for them from the rock. Not content with mockery, they decided to kill the she-camel and the Prophet himself, in a dark conspiracy unparalleled in history.
Here came the final warning... an opportunity to repent... but they persisted in their defiance.
In a moment of divine wrath, God's command came.
A mighty earthquake and a devastating heavenly cry pierced their ears until their hearts were broken. God left them kneeling in their homes, motionless, as if they had never sung yesterday.
Their palaces were turned into ruins, and their mountains into silent rocks, witnessing the end of a nation that believed its strength would protect it from God's punishment.

In this majestic documentary, we return to one of the most horrific stories of rebellion in history: the story of the people of Thamud and the most dangerous faction in their city; nine men who "wreaked corruption on earth and did not reform" (Ahl al-Raht).
