In this video we follow the full alternate history of a world without the space race. We trace what happens to computing, to satellites, to GPS, to the internet, to global culture, when the great engine of innovation that was the Apollo program simply never runs. We follow the Cold War into a harder, more militarized version of itself. We watch the Soviet Union collapse anyway, not through space cooperation and detente, but through simple exhaustion.
And then we follow it all the way to 2027, when a Chinese probe surveying near Earth asteroids finds something worth trillions of dollars, triggers a new kind of space race driven not by ideology but by economics, and forces humanity to decide whether it will cooperate or tear itself apart over the resources of the cosmos.

And then, just when the future seems mapped out, something is discovered beneath the surface of the Moon that changes every question humanity thought it was asking.

The space race never happened. The world paid a price for that. And now, seventy years late, it is finally beginning.
