In 2023, I walked from Manchester to London for Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Too many people still don’t know.

I met people along the way, some had never even heard of the Holocaust.

And that broke me.

We can’t assume the next generation is being taught.

We have to show them.

Not always through lectures or textbooks, but through action.

Through stories. Through presence.

When a teenager sees someone walking 200+ miles, they ask why.

And in that moment, we get to tell them.

We get to honour the memory of 6 million lives.

We get to say: this matters.

This challenge was for Yad Vashem UK.

And it’s one I’ll carry with me forever.
