Dinghy cruising overnighter on Cellars beach on the Yealm - episode three

Arwen is a 14'6" yawl designed by famous New Zealand boat designer, John Welsford. In this video, part three of four, I pack up Arwen, have breakfast at anchor and start our sail back down the Yealm to Plymouth Sound.

I built Arwen over two and a half years in my garage and she was launched in 2010. Since then we have cruised the rivers and coastal waters of South Devon and Cornwall. You can follow our adventures at Arwen's blog www.arwensmeanderings.blogspot.co.uk or here on her Youtube channel where you can download videos or themed playlists www.YouTube.com/c/plymouthwelshboy .

In episode four, we become adrift on Wembury Bay, have a close encounter with a low flying helicopter and then sail back to Plymouth Sound and Wembury bay via Kingsand and Drakes Island.

If you would like me to address a particular dinghy cruising aspect in a forthcoming video - drop me a line below and if you have any nice, constructive, friendly advice to improve my sailing skills, please do let me know and thank you.

Fair winds, good sailing, stay safe and see you out on the water sometime. Thanks for joining us on this voyage.
Steve and Arwen
