Ethiopian Omo desert: living in a war zone | SLICE

In the Great Rift Valley in southern Ethiopia live the Surma people, separately from the outside world. Their way of life is very rare and ancient. Their strength comes from their difficult life conditions: drought and famine. They are always in war with other tribes of the region, especially the Bumis.
