MSD at DOD's Tradewinds Exercise

Our Mobile Security Deployments (MSD) was recently in Trinidad and Tobago to participate in the SOUTHCOM Tradewinds Exercise. MSD and DSS agents from the U.S. Embassy Port of Spain hosted a protective security workshop, conducted disaster response training, and participated in a full-scale principal recovery and evacuation exercise. As the Department of State’s on-call, tactical security element, MSD trains regularly to provide a safe and secure environment for U.S. interests abroad. The Tradewinds Exercise strengthens security cooperation, improves interoperability, and ultimately enhances overall security for the western hemisphere.
