Victoria Price (daughter of Vincent) interviews Roger Corman at H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival

The 24th Annual H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival in 2019 featured Guest of Honor Victoria Price (daughter of the late great horror actor Vincent Price) and special guest Roger Corman, director and producer of hundreds of genre films, like House of Usher, Masque of The Red Death, and Death Race 2000. The festival hosted a very special screening of his 1963 film, THE HAUNTED PALACE on classic 35mm film, followed by an in-depth interview of Roger Corman by Victoria Price, about what it was like to work with her father, Vincent.

While The Haunted Palace is named after an Edgar Allan Poe work (to capitalize on the popularity of AIP's Poe films), it is actually based on H. P. Lovecraft's novella, The Case of Charles Dexter Ward, with a screenplay by Charles Beaumont, and starring Vincent Price in the dual role of Charles Dexter Ward and Joseph Curwen.

H. P. Lovecraft Film Festival® was founded in 1995 by Andrew Migliore and is now directed by Brian and Gwen Callahan, who also direct Portland Horror Film Festival™, Portland Oregon's premiere all-horror 4-day genre festival.
