Salsa and Montunos - jazz piano riffs
In this piece, I wanted to showcase montunos, clave, and latin jazz. It mixes bossa nova with clave and 2-5-1's. one of my favorite jazz pianists is Makoto Ozone and I think this piece reminds me of his mixing latin music with American jazz piano.
