The breadboarded circuit is checked against the circuit diagram; the breadboarded circuit was correct. A problem with the circuit as published was identified and corrected. Modifications aimed at lowering ripple, reducing sensitivity to high frequency load variations and allowing adjustment of current limiting are diagrammed.
