Die Spielbude (translation: playhouse) was TV entertainment series for children run from 1982-1989. It offered a colorful mix of music, shows, attractions, children's talk and hobbies.
Limahl appeared 4 times in die Spielbude: 3 times.in 1984 and once in 1986 (all are on my playlist).

Comments: one of my favourites Limahl's performances in 1986, only one of 2 in daylight. You can see here Limahl in white sleeveless t-shirt, which hasn't happen since 1983 with Kajagoogoo. In Thames documentary "CBTV Special" (on my playlist) he explained why he liked to use sleeveless t-shirts. The reason behind it was the heat from the lights and equipment on scene, which was too much to bear- sleeveless t-shirt makes the experience a bit easier.
