THREE PHASE MOTOR WIRING – DOL – DIRECT ON LINE - STAR DELTA - HOW TO WIRE – CHANGING DIRECTION

Questions such as … how to follow the wiring, especially with star delta starters – and how do I recognise the differences between DOL motors and star delta motors. In fact, what is a direct on line motor.

In this video we take a look at the basics of these motor arrangements. It’s all in the wiring as they say so we will follow, step by step, the route of the wiring for each type of motor configuaration so that you can confidently recognise these motors and how they work.

And the most frequent question – how to change rotation direction for each type, including start delta configurations. Its not a black art, its actually very simple and we show you how.
