SOME PEOPLE DON'T KNOW THIS PLACE EXISTS | SUGPON, ILOCOS SUR | WHY IT IS ONE OF THE POOREST TOWNS?

The purpose of this video is to show that there is a place somewhere in Ilocos sur, unknown to many and that includes other residents of the province it belongs to, that is underdeveloped but has potentials for agro-tourism. The place has some attractions that are "undiscovered" yet. These potential attractions will be featured on another video so wait for it. It is a work in progress.

Sugpon is a 5th class municipality of the Province of Ilocos Sur. It is used to be a part of Mt. Province but was annexed to Ilocos Sur in 1901, then back to Mt. Province after few years, and finally back to Ilocos Sur in 1920.

It is the southern most part of Ilocos Sur in tri-boundaries with La Union, Benguet, and of course - Ilocos Sur. It is the second least populated in Ilocos Sur but second biggest town in terms of land area, that includes land disputes with its neighboring provinces.

It has 6 barangays or major villages.
