Every journey starts on the road.
In front of Ovoo, the only road sign for the wanderer on a vast plain, a man and a woman come together.
The man is a Korean actor Yeo Wook-hwan and the woman is Mongolian actress Uyanga!
They are irresistibly drawn to the peaceful plain and the simple people they meet on the desolate road.
And the journey through the wind begins.

The nomads that Yeo Wook-hwan and Uyanga meet on their journey console their yak with a ritual when they spill its milk and they light up a candle for the sheep before it's slaughtered for its next life. They possess few thus the vast plain itself becomes their home.

They offer their food to travelers before they eat and they live by the law of nature alone without boundaries between men and nature.

The greed of man has altered even the geographical feature of the land.
The mountains are bare and scarred beyond recognition. Ulaan Lake in Dundgobi that was once the largest lake in the country is now nothing but hideously cracked ground due to the disaster of Ongi River.

But people have come together to turn the things around.
The effort may not be grand in scale.
It's simply planting vitamin trees known to prevent desertification.
But as the hearts come together and as the trees grow, hope takes a root.
Sharing the hopeful belief, Yeo Wook-hwan and Uyanga gladly join the effort.
태고의 자연을 가진 나라, 몽골을 가다

여행은 길 위에서 시작한다고 했던가, 광활한 땅의 경계, 여행자를 위한 이정표 ovoo 앞, 한국과 몽골의 두 남녀가 만났다.
한국의 배우 여욱환, 몽골의 배우 우얀가!
그림자 하나 찾아볼 수 없는 길 위에서 만난 순박한 사람들과 평화로운 초원에 마음을 뺏긴 이들..
바람을 타고 둘만의 여정을 시작한다.

순수의 여행자 여욱환과 우양가가 만난 몽골 유목민들은 실수로 쏟아버린 젖을 아까워하기 보단, 예를 갖춘 의식으로 소의 마음을 먼저 생각하고, 가축을 잡기 전, 다음 생을 기원하는 제사를 지내며 소유하지 않기에 너른 대지를 마당삼아 살아간다.

처음 보는 여행객들에게 먼저 음식을 내어주는 순박한 그들은 자연과 인간의 경계가 없는, 오롯이 자연의 순리에 따라 숨을 쉰다.

인간의 탐욕은 몽골의 지형까지 바꿔놓았다.
깎이고 깍여 상처투성이가 된 민둥산은 물론, 허리가 잘려버린 엉기강으로 한때 몽골 최대 호수였던 둔두고비의 울란호수는 거북이 등처럼 갈라진 호수 바닥만이 흉물스럽게 남아있다.

그러나 그 자연을 되돌리기 위해, 사람들이 힘을 모았다.
그 활동이 거창한 것은 아니다.
사막화 방지 수종으로 알려진 사극나무를 심는 것. 그 뿐이다. 하지만 마음이 모이고, 나무가 자랄수록 희망도 커져간다 확신한다. 그 믿음에 여행자, 여욱환과 우얀가도 희망을 보태본다.
