Some days I feel so in tune with my bike, I feel strong, and I am focused solely on the task at hand.

Recently, I haven't really felt any of these if I'm being honest. Whether that is due to the fact that I am anxious to hit the road, or have just a few too many projects going on at once, I just can't seem to be able to swing my leg over the bike and forget about everything else at the moment. I'm hoping that will change very soon, but for now I have a story of such instance and the honestly not so bad outcome from it!

This is a cautionary tale of the worst I think Seth and I have ridden in quite some time, and just how much focus mountain biking requires!

I hope everyone stayed safe out there over the weekend, but also got out for rides! For those few of you that weren't able to escape the wrath like me, I wish you a speedy recovery and happy memories of the ride. Don't worry, you will be back on that horse soon.

Real Talk for a second: I'm transitioning back to life in the van and on the road, and I gotta be honest, it takes some getting used to each time. I have no doubt that within a month I'll be right back into the swing of things, but it's worth pointing out to anyone that considers doing what I do, that even the most seasoned of us get a little nervous when making the transition, and have a period of adjustment when going from home to vehicle living. It's normal, it's natural, and it will pass. In the end, I know that the comforts I am hesitant to give up will give way to many more benefits.
