Getting a Full A+ in your 10th board exams is a great achievement, but is it enough to secure a seat in India's premier institutes? In this insightful session organized by the PM Foundation, I addressed the top 300 students chosen from over 5,000 applicants.

I talked on the harsh realities of highly competitive exams like JEE, NEET, and CUET. Despite the number of Full A+ students in Kerala rising from 4,000 in 2007 to tens of thousands today, Malayali representation in top institutes like IITs remains alarmingly low (less than 1%). Furthermore, last year saw zero Malayali students in the NEET top 100, and Kerala student admissions in Delhi colleges dropped to one-fourth after the introduction of CUET.

Key Topics Covered in This Video:

The "Full A+ Trap": Why high scorers often fail to crack competitive exams due to overconfidence, distractions, or a fear of failure after 10th grade.

Premier Institutes in India: Opportunities in IITs, NITs, AIIMS, JIPMER, IISc, and IISERs.

Central Universities & CUET: The shift in admission processes for top central universities like Delhi University and JNU. Non-Science Careers: Pathways to top Law Universities (NLU, NALSAR via CLAT), Management (IIMs via IPMAT), and Design (NID via NID DAT).

Global Scholarships: Insights into massive opportunities like the MBZUAI in Abu Dhabi, which offers undergraduate degrees in Artificial Intelligence with a scholarship worth approximately ₹1.6 Crores.

A Message to Parents: How to track your child's progress, help them identify their true direction, and provide consistent support during the critical +1 and +2 years.

Parents, this is a must-watch to ensure your child's potential is properly nurtured!
