Nonprofit Brings Books To Laundromats To Boost Youth Literacy

The Kern Literacy Council is a California-based nonprofit helping boost childhood literacy rates by providing free books for kids to read at laundromats! Executive Director Ian and Youth Literacy Committee Chair Carter share how the program has become a great way to get books into kids' hands while they are waiting for clothes to dry. Pilot Pen donates $1,000 to the Kern Literacy Council to help get more books for kids!
