MSI Testimony in Partial Opposition to SB10 - Election Law – Polling Sites – Firearms Prohibitions

HB450 and SB10 would ban the possession of firearms within 100 feet of any polling location on election day, regardless of whether or not the property is public or private. Having a firearm in ANY location 100 feet within the location would be illegal, even if it were inside a home within that distance or private business.
