In this session, I walk step by step through deploying a Node.js and Express.js backend on AWS Lambda using Terraform. I begin by whiteboarding the backend deployment strategy, visually breaking down the architecture before moving into implementation.

As we progress, I translate the whiteboard design into Terraform Infrastructure as Code, live coding each piece. While doing so, I also face and debug real errors live — explaining how to reason through issues, read error messages, and fix misconfigurations as they come up.
